Basic plan is not available for tenants with more than 300 Microsoft 365 base licenses.
Yes. Annual billing is 20% off the monthly price on every plan, billed once a year.
What is the platform fee?
A fixed monthly fee on top of the per-seat price: $0 on Basic, $99 on Standard and $199 on Enterprise. It covers the platform’s features, reports and dashboards.
How is the monthly price worked out?
Basic is $20 a month per tenant. Standard is $0.05 per Microsoft 365 seat plus the $99 platform fee, so 1,000 seats cost $149 a month. Enterprise is $0.09 per seat plus the $199 platform fee, so 1,000 seats cost $289 a month. Annual billing takes 20% off: Standard at 1,000 seats is $119.20 a month, billed $1,430.40 a year.
What counts as a license or seat?
Billing is based on the total number of Microsoft 365 licenses purchased in your tenant. Only primary licenses count:
Business plans: Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Business Standard and Business Premium, and Office 365 Business Essentials and Business Premium (legacy)
Enterprise plans: Microsoft 365 E1, E3, E5 and E7, and Office 365 E1, E3 and E5 (legacy), including the versions sold without Teams
Frontline worker plans: Microsoft 365 F1 and F3, and Office 365 F3
Education plans: Office 365 Education (faculty and student), Office 365 A1, A3 and A5, and Microsoft 365 A3 and A5
Government plans: Office 365 G1, G3 and G5 and Microsoft 365 G3 and G5, in GCC and GCC High
Add-on licenses are not counted.
365TUNE reads the counts from Microsoft Graph at the end of each billing cycle, so changes during a month or year appear on your next bill.
Can I add reporting agents or AI tokens?
Yes. Extra reporting agents are $10 per agent per month, and extra AI tokens are $25 per 1 million tokens per month. Agents can be added at any time; the rest of the billing period is charged pro rata.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrades apply immediately, and the rest of the month or year is billed at the new rate pro rata. Downgrades apply from the start of your next billing cycle.
Which plan is for smaller organizations?
Basic, for tenants with up to 300 Microsoft 365 base licenses. It includes 2 reporting agents, 180-day data retention, the AI assistant (Ask SAI) and enterprise-grade security, SSO and compliance.
Which plan suits MSPs?
Standard and Enterprise both include multi-tenant management. Enterprise adds GDAP, drift restore and approval workflows. MSPs can also apply to the partner program for partner pricing.
What access does 365TUNE need to my tenant?
Read-only access. 365TUNE reads your Microsoft 365 data to build its reports.
