AI agent for Microsoft 365 tenant insights
Ask which licenses to cut, which controls fail or who stopped using Copilot. Answers come from your tenant data, with every source shown, and changes wait for approval.
What is an AI agent for Microsoft 365?
An AI agent for Microsoft 365 answers questions about your tenant in plain English and can suggest what to do next. Instead of opening five reports and joining them in Excel, you ask, and the agent looks up the data.
365TUNE's agent answers from the data 365TUNE holds about your tenant: license costs, failed CIS and CISA controls, and up to 24 months of usage. When a question needs current data, it queries your tenant live. Every answer shows its sources, and any change it suggests waits for approval.
One answer, the way you'll see it
Sample question for a 6,000-user company: "Which E5 users haven't signed in for 60 days?"
| Part of the answer | What it says |
|---|---|
| Answer | 61 users with Microsoft 365 E5 haven't signed in for 60 days. Their E5 licenses cost $3,660 a month, and 21 of them also hold Power BI Pro ($294 a month). |
| Table | The 61 users with department, manager, last sign-in and license cost, ready to filter or export as CSV |
| Sources | Entra ID sign-in activity from the scan of 20 Oct 2026, license assignments, Microsoft list prices |
| Suggested change | Send the 61 users to the "Inactive E5 users" offboarding policy. Each manager approves by email before anything changes. |
Ask in plain English
Type the question the way you would ask a colleague. The result is a table you can filter and export as CSV. 365TUNE doesn't keep the question or the answer, so nothing you ask is stored.
- Cost: "Which departments pay most for licenses nobody uses?"
- Licenses: "Who holds Power BI Pro but hasn't opened Power BI in 30 days?"
- Security: "Which critical controls are failing, and since when?"
- Adoption: "Which teams stopped using Copilot since July?"
When the agent suggests a change
Some answers lead to an action, such as removing an unused license. The agent can suggest the change, but it runs only with your consent to the permissions it needs and after an approval. Offboarding suggestions go through the same email approval as your offboarding policies, so the manager or HR still decides.
What Microsoft offers, and what it leaves out
Microsoft's Microsoft 365 Admin agent is free for admins in Copilot Chat and the admin center. It reads admin data through Microsoft Graph, such as users, licenses, groups and service health, and asks an admin to confirm any change. It doesn't price licenses or check your tenant against CIS and CISA controls. 365TUNE's agent answers from that priced and scored data, with 24 months of history, and routes changes through approval by the manager or HR.
Microsoft describes its agent in Microsoft 365 Admin agent.
How the agent handles your data
- What it reads: the data 365TUNE has already collected from your tenant, plus live queries to your tenant when a question needs current data.
- Where it runs: on an enterprise AI service, in the United States by default. Processing in the EU is available on request.
- What is kept: 365TUNE doesn't store your prompts or the answers. Enterprise customers can also turn on zero data retention at the AI service.
- Training: your data, prompts and answers are never used to train an AI model.
- Changes: the agent can suggest a change, but nothing happens without your consent and an approval.
- Switching it off: you can turn the AI agent off for your tenant.
For IT teams and MSPs
For IT teams

For MSPs
Answer a customer's question about their own tenant on the call, and export the result for their next review.
Security of the connection
The agent works from read-only access. Anything that changes your tenant needs its own consent and an approval. 365TUNE is ISO 27001 certified, has a SOC 2 Type II report and doesn't use your data for training.
